Standard Loan Rules
| Any resident of Atoka, Carter, Johnston, Love or Murray county is eligible for a free library card. Cards are issued to minors, age fourteen (14) and under, with the signature of a parent or legal guardian acknowledging responsibility for library materials checked out by the child. Non-residents are required to pay a yearly fee of $25.00. A CRLS library card can be used at any CRLS library. By accepting and signing a library card from the CRLS, customers accept responsibility for using all library materials and Computer/Internet services appropriately. |

| Checkout Limits |
| Overdues |
| CRLS requests that items be returned in a timely manner. |
| Patrons may not check out additional materials if they have more than four (4) overdue items or have charges/fees on their account. |
| Patrons will be sent one (1) overdue notice within two (2) weeks after materials have become overdue. After 56 days, the materials are considered lost and patrons will be billed. |
| Patrons will be fined $1.00 per item per day for overdue DVD/VHS materials. |
| Holds |
| Up to five (5) items may be placed on hold at any one time. |
| Interlibrary loan requests will be limited to five per month. There is a $1.50 per item fee for each ILL request which has to be filled from outside CRLS libraries. |
| Interlibrary loan requests should be placed at a CRLS library or a non-CRLS library, but not both. |

Renewals |
Items, with the exception of
DVDs, videos and current Best Sellers may be renewed once, either by
phone, * online
or in person if renewal period has not been exceeded. *Click on the "Renew Books" button on the CRLS homepage to send an email message. Include your name and library card number. |

Book Drops |
For your convenience, each CRLS library has an outside book drop to return items, except for . . . DVDs, videos or audio books as they may be damaged (especially in the heat of summer). |

Returns |
Library materials may be returned to any CRLS library. |
